Supply Chain Management

Today's lecture was probably my favourite one so far. It was very interesting to get an insight on supply chain management. It was also good to interact with many different people from different groups. It did look and sound a bit like a fish market though because there was so much noise and so much interaction. There were a few disagreements within the group as well and a bit of impatience when we couldn't get our supplies on time. Overall, quite an enjoyable lecture.

Talk by Neil Strange

Although the presentation itself wasn't as good as the first two, Neil left with a great bit of interesting information about the data releases by the government on http://data.gov.uk . A lot of very interesting information on there. It was great talking to Neil in the group....gave us lots of ideas. Good chap :D

BIS is turning out to be quite an enjoyable course. Although there's a bit too much group work involved. Its a bit difficult to be a part of so many groups......Need to start thinking about business ideas soon....and project manager of course.....
